If you are looking to make some handy side-income from home, Amazon’s Fulfilled by Amazon program could be just the ticket!
You can get started for just a couple hundred dollars and even an initial investment of about $1000 can be a life changing investment.
Now, I know what you’re probably thinking, “$1,000 isn’t much to invest and even if you are successful, you’ll most likely still have to work a job.” And that would be completely true for most investments, but this is far from that. What I’m talking about, of course, is Amazon FBA. That’s right. You can make money selling products on Amazon’s program called Fulfillment by Amazon.
Fulfillment by Amazon - What’s that?
There’s a good chance that if you’ve bought something on Amazon, it was a Fulfillment by Amazon product. So, what is FBA?
Well, FBA is Amazon’s program that allows sellers to ship and store their products within Amazon’s warehouses – or Fulfillment Centers – until the product sells. Once someone buys the product, Amazon’s employees find, pack, and ship the product to the customer for a small cost of the sale price.
This allows sellers to minimize the amount of time that they spend measuring, weighing, packing, and shipping products that they want to sell.
Instead, all that time can be better spent hunting for new products or replenishing stock for products that are already being sold. Seems simple enough, right? Well, let’s take it a step further and discuss what a private label is, along with how you may plan to use one.
Private Label – The Gist
Simply put, a private label is the brand used for a product that is sold by a retailer, but made by a separate manufacturer. Another, more commonly used term for this kind of practice is outsourcing. This will allow us to keep your costs to a minimum, while maximizing profits.
It is pertinent to be concerned about the quality of the product that you order. Simple order a test sample from the manufacturer prior to placing our first full order. This will allow you some level of quality control. Otherwise, you run the risk of having our customers receive an inferior product, which could reflect negatively on you when reviews start coming in.
If you’re ever interested in the possibility of working from home or starting a home based business, I suggest you give Amazon FBA a good look over. A lot of people have had some serious success on Amazon, so why not you?
