Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre, WA
Australia’s first purpose built conference centre was this Perth venue. Holding a capacity of 2,500 seated delegates in an auditorium with a total of 19 meeting rooms, it served as a popular spot for companies to host business conferences and events. However, with a much smaller capacity than its competitors in other parts of the country, the WA tourism council decided in 2016 that it was time for the venue to be upgraded to fit more people. Once this upgrade is complete, this venue is projected to seat up to 60% more people, making it a strong contender to compete against the likes of the ICC.
